The Neuroinflammation Training Program sponsors multiple travel awards each year.

• The application for a Travel Award must be submitted to the competition deadline  which is at least 2 months prior to the date of travel (e.g. submit to the Jan 15th competition for travel starting May 1st)
• If your abstract has not yet been accepted when the application is submitted, your award will be conditional upon final abstract acceptance
• Only one application per trainee per calendar year will be considered.
• There is a limit of 2 travel awards per PI per calendar year.
• Applicants should be a trainee (funded or not) of the CIHR Neuroinflammation Training Program who are planning to attend and present work as a first author at a scientific meeting of relevance to the Training Program.
• The recipient will be required to acknowledge the Neuroinflammation Training Program on their poster or presentation.
